Collaborative riparian restoration demonstration project funded

Mid-Columbia Fisheries is pleased to be working with the Cascade Land Conservancy, the Kittitas County Conservation District, and WSU Extension on a riparian restoration demonstration project on Helen McCabe State Park.  The project will compare riparian plant and noxious weed establishment in areas of total cattle exclusion and areas that are flash-grazed.  Project funding is provided by the Pioneers in Conservation program, administered by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
