Coleman Creek Bridge Removal Bids Solicited

Effective May 8, 2009, Mid-Columbia Fisheries is soliciting bids for a responsible contractor to remove an old agricultural bridge across Coleman Creek at Olmstead State Park, near Kittitas, WA. Work must be completed by June 30, 2009. The goal of the project is to improve instream fish habitat conditions in Coleman Creek by removing the bridge, which constricts streamflow. This is a cooperative project between Washington State Parks, Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group, and Kittitas Conservation Trust. The project is funded by a grant from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s ALEA program. Bids are due at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009.
