Notice of bid solicitation
Effective September 8, 2009, Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group is soliciting bids for two upcoming projects. A mandatory bid tour for each project was held on September 11. Bids are due on September 18. The projects are as follows:
1) Cowiche Creek. A contractor is needed to remove a house, shed, dike, and garbage, and to relocate fill material at the project area.
2) Charlie Lane Site. A contractor is needed to excavate a stream channel, install a culvert and logs, and to construct a “roughened channel” at the outlet of this new channel and a side-channel of the Naches River.
These are two separate projects and separate bids are required. Construction will begin on both projects in late September or early October.
